Arabica Qatar opens its doors in Msheireb Downtown

With its origins in Japan, Arabica did not start as a cafe but worked in the business of coffee before opening its first cafe in Kyoto Japan. This was in the year 2014. Roll on 6 years later, Arabica has quickly gained reputation and following .and we welcome Arabica Qatar to Msheireb Downtown District.

Arabica Qatar is located in the retail quarter of the regenerated downtown area of Msheireb near to the QNB and Al Wadi Hotel.

The design of Arabica Qatar follows the minimal design interior concept that’s been adopted around the world. And, there’s ample indoor and outdoor seating.

I went to try it on the day of the public opening and had to wait for about half an hour to get to the cashier to place an order. The crowd mostly consisted of locals who were as eager to try the new cafe.

Arabica Cafe Qatar Retail Wall

The cafe has a retail section where it offers its limited merchandize from tumblers to totes. And of course coffee beans.

The cafe offers several single origin and a signature Arabica blend.
I stuck with my usual choice of a milk based drink ( which usually is a cappuccino or a flat white) but Arabica Qatar just offered a Latte. Tip: If choosing the Arabica blend in a large size, don’t forget to add an extra shot into the coffee.

The cafe reminds me of Blue Bottle Coffee, with its white and beige minimal interiors and simple branding.

Wishing it the best as this is the 5 cafe to open in Msheireb Downtown after Empire Coffee, Ministry Of Coffee, Caffeinated and Nomad cafe.
