While the Burger King at New York Steak House might share the same name as a well-known fast-food chain, it is anything but basic. This 100% wagyu burger is rich, indulgent, cooked to perfection, and hard to get your hands around.
We asked for medium, and medium is what we got (quite a surprise in Doha). As it came to the table our first thoughts were ‘WOW’ its size, the picture-perfect oozing cheese dribbling from the sides, and the shiny brioche bun got us excited to try this Burger King out.
Let’s talk about the ingredients (although this burger is so much greater than the sum of its parts): 10oz 100% wagyu beef burger, foie gras, cheese, homemade pickles, secret New York Steak House sauce and a brioche bun which was stamped with the restaurant’s logo – nice touch guys.
It also comes with delicious fries and two selected beverages. I was only offered beer so I guess that’s the selected beverages. Hani asked to swap these for non-alcoholic drinks and they obliged. Could I (Nats) eat the whole thing? No, it beat me. So, I took half home and saved it for the next day and it was just as delicious.
